Cordless Drill?
I have a Bosch 12V cordless drill. The drill comes with 2 batteries. Both batteries were not holding a charge. I have the options to purchase new batteries @ $ 50 – $ 70 each, have batteries batteries rebuild Plus for $ 40 each. Or waste drilling and buy a new 14V for about $ 200.Do has any other ideas? Which option would you go for. PS I like this exercise.
You can download the batteries. You need a source of tension that is greater than 12V. You can connect 2 car batteries in series to obtain 24V. Connect the negative car battery to the negative battery Bosch. Then touch the positive car battery to the positive of the Bosch 5 or 6 times. This will eliminate the little whiskers short out internally the battery. As far as I know, this only works with nickel-cadmium batteries. You may want to use a momentary contact switch to prevent sparks.
