Metal Grinding
Grinding mill is very common in making powder and mainly used in chemical industry, metallurgy, construction, cement and other industries.It contains many types which have different advantages. Ball mill:
Ball mill is the earlist grinding mill equipment and now is still widely used. In the cement industry, the ball mill id used to grind raw materials, coal, cement clinker mill, it is one of the major mechanical equipments. At the same time there are various kinds of ball mill to meet different technical demands and needs.
Ball mill is mainly used for grinding materials in such production industries as cement, silicate product, new building materials, corhart, chemical engineering, nonferrous and black metal, mineral processing, glass and ceramic, etc. Ball mill is used for grinding various ore and other grindable materials dry or wet.
Vertical mill:
Modern vertical milling machine is developed from 1906 and has been continuously improved over the past century. It has gone through the mill that use centrifugal force to pressure the roller and the mill that use spring pressure. Now the vertical mill use hydraulic pressure. The materials have also becomed more and more hard. Now vertical mill is usually used to grind brittle cement clinker and slag. Vertical mill is an energy-saving new equipment with a wide range of use.
Raymond mill:
Comparing with ball mill, raymond mill features high efficiency, low power consumption, small size, a one-time small investment and widely used in barite, calcite, potash feldspar, talcum, marble, limestone, dolomite, fluorite, lime, activated clay, activated carbon, bentonite, kaolin, cement, phosphate rock, gypsum, glass, insulation materials, etc whose mohs hardness is not greater than 9.3 and humidity is below 6%. Raymond Mill is mainly consist of the milling system, analysis system and dust removal system.
Raymond mill is mainly applied to the powder processing of mineral products in industries of metallurgy, construction, chemistry, and mining etc. It can produce powder from more than 280 kinds of non-flammable and non-explosive mineral materials with Mohs hardness below 7 and humidity below 6%, such as barite, limestone, quartz, calcite, granite, porcelain clay, basalt, gypsum etc. The final size is between 613 micron and 440 micron(0.613mm—0.044mm).
There are many other kinds of grinding mill, such as Coarse Powder Grinding Mill, Super Thin Grinding Mill, Trapezium Grinding Mill, High Pressure Grinding Mill etc.
