Professional Quality
What is a good brand of professional quality photo printer for digital photos?
I'm switching over a traditional darkroom to a all-digital configuration. I've been looking, but all I can find are the "consumers" quality printers for point and shoot cameras. Recently I ugrade to a Nikon D200, and I would like a professional quality printer to add. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
I myself had to switch to one quarter digital dark, because to be honest, just do not have the space for a traditional darkroom. In terms of getting the best printers, I would suggest Epson printer, which uses the new K3 inks. These inks work especially well for black and white printing, and file are at least 200 years. Another thing is that you has limited the tan of the image. Tan if you're not familiar with is the image when viewed from one angle is more or less silver or bronze. I personally use the Epson R2400
