Quarter Angle
What can I do with a record quarter? Well, you can attach to an angle of 90 degrees on your furniture. The first thing you do is like when half of your registration. You want to find a straight 2×4 and screw in the registry to it. Be sure to put a screw at each end of the record to be screwed to the 2×4. You want to find the distance between the outside of the 2×4 and central registration. Once you find the distance you want to set your table saw fence to that measurement. Measure the height of his record when is screwed to the 2×4. Set the table saw blade height to just over half the height of the registration. Once the fence and the blade height, run the register through the table saw and make sure your 2×4 color is the fence.
After you make your first cut, take the meeting in the 2×4. Connect 2×4 log in again with the first cut nearly parallel to the table on which it sits. Be the first cut down, just a hair when screwed into the 2×4. You want the angle to be between 75 and 85 degrees. The closer you can get to 90 degrees at best, but be sure not to exceed 90 degrees. If the angle above 90 degrees you will differences between registration and your furniture when you attach the log. Once you are ready to run the log through the saw again, put it on the table saw and make sure the blade will meet the first cut you made. This way you cut ¼ of the record.
Once your registration quartered, I sand like my record with an orbital sander. After the registration of sand, ready to be connected to your furniture. To connect the record room only have to use 2 "- 2 ½" screws through the back of your frame on the register. I put the screws right at the corner of the frame. If there are gaps between the registry and its frame, you can put smaller screws on the back of your frame where the gaps are.
